My first tattoo, originally designed by Brett Helquist the illustrator of SoUE. Not only did I get it to represent my love for the series and it’s obscurities, but I also owe my artistic inclinations to Helquist because as I grew up his drawings inspired me. Not only that, but the message of this drawing (I forget which book specifically it is from..) is to hold on to hope until your last breath.
